I reached a point of stillness
Beyond all pain and fear,
There was no need for respite
Nor to even shed a tear
There seemed to be a plateau;
Day fusing into night
As time suspended, I could see
An all pervading light…
Pulsating to a frequency
Beyond the speed of sound
With oscillating laser beams
That penetrate the ground
Shaking the foundations
With a seismic shift in view –
Awakening to greet the dawn
Of consciousness; reborn anew…
