Stands strong and erect
Firm pylons, whose structure
Commanding respect

Shows icy composure
As stalwart, unflinching
Through snowdrift exposure

In stormy conditions
Gale force winds bluster past
Whilst lightning erupts
In a thunderous blast!

Yet the bridge for all seasons
Unfazed by the storm
Awaits calmer weather
And welcomes the dawn

As the mist is emerging
And the rain of the night
In droplets – like tears
Are exposed to the light

While the bridge for all seasons
Is proud to be seen
And adorned by a rainbow
As if in a dream…

On a hot, balmy day
With the focus on fun
Our bridge for all seasons
Salutes to the sun!
